Katrina Warcaba and Lydia Ristova Whittaker are both highly qualified and experienced music teachers. Simon Loake has been involved on the ceilidh circuit as a musician, caller and sound engineer for over 30 years, and Shelley van Loen plays in classical orchestras at the highest level. Between them, the members of Lebedek can offer a wide selection of workshops, which can be tailored to your requirements. Subjects can include Eastern European music, Macedonian music, Jewish music, playing for ceilidhs, and techniques for playing in a band environment, whilst instrument-specific workshops can be provided for accordion, violin and other stringed instruments. Lebedek can also provide workshops in beginners’ ceilidh dancing, Eastern European dances, and calling for ceilidhs.
